Hi! I’m Carissa, a recently graduated Occupational Therapist here in Vegas with a love of cute clothes. The older I get, the more I realize that I am passionate about SO many things! Who says you have to just choose one?? Welcome to my passion project where I will share my love of life, style, and occupational therapy.
Here’s 5 things about me:
-I have worked in retail throughout both undergraduate and graduate degrees so I could afford cute clothes.
-My FAVORITE color is navy blue.
-Born and raised in Orange County, currently living in Vegas with my husband while we both pursue graduate degrees!
-My little sister has cerebral palsy and is the reason I pursued my Bachelors in Special Education at BYU and what eventually led me to my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at TUN.
-My all-time favorite snack is chips and salsa.
My passions
Boho everything
I love anything and everything boho, oversized, and of course on sale. I am always on the hunt for timeless pieces that can be worn for years to come. My philosophy has always been to pay for quality. I would rather have fewer, higher-quality pieces than a bunch of cheap clothes.
Uplifting
Life is meant to be enjoyed! In this crazy, overwhelming world we are often clouded with lots of negativity. I love bringing light into people’s lives! One way I do that is by creating free uplifting quotes that can hopefully brighten someone’s day.
Occupational Therapy
I am super passionate about my field of occupational therapy, especially pediatrics. Everything from school-based practice, handwriting, parent education, milestones, reflexes, I am all here for!
